How The TORC Works
The TORC system creates a gentle swirling vortex using a mixture of low air pressure, little water and a safe inert fine granulate. 25L: Approximate water consumption per hour.
The Torc Head is modularised into separate components which results in an efficient and gentle swirling vortex using even less water and granulate than the original Jos system.
The removable nozzle cone can easily be changed so that a larger cone can be used to clean large areas such as ashlar or a smaller nozzle cone can be used for more intricate detail such as an elaborate capital or rustications.

Carbon Staining Cleaning
A build-up of carbon monoxide settles into the surface of the substrate, eating away at the stone and altering the physical appearance, which once removed, allows the restored stonework to have an ‘as new’ and fresh look.
Limescale Cleaning
very effective way of removing years of limescale build-up. We use the system for stone cleaning, as well as the removal of limescale from cladding, bricks and more.
Paint Removal
The TORC system can effectively remove most external oil and water-based paints, varnishes, bitumastic and thermoplastics coatings without causing shock or damage to the substrate.
Graffiti Removal
The TORC system can be a very efficient way of cleaning graffiti. Using either chemical or mechanical solutions, various types of paint, such as spray paints, cellulose, lead-based, water-based and oil paints can be removed from a building's façade
Efflorescence Removal
Efflorescence is a salty substance that is usually white or grey and powdery. It is found on many masonry surfaces. When water evaporates from the surface of the material it leaves behind these salty deposits. These can be easily removed with little to no damage and without leaving ‘ghosting’ or shadowing from the stains. he TORC system will work to gently remove this staining
Oxidation and Sulphate Cleaning
Metals such as bronze, brass and copper can cause staining over time. The TORC system will work to gently remove this staining and leave your building looking as good as new.
